"Allowing myself to move with the music, I created this unique piece with the energy and emotion it evokes, flowing to the rhythm and inspiring the movement in my brushstrokes. This artwork represents a cumulative point in my life, thus the name Kawsay."

This artwork has been painted during a live experimental dancing performance of Imogen Hope in Barcelon at Bridge 48.

Imogen performed a dance in front of the canvas and as a result of a natural balance between music, movement and painting, she created Kawsay Black and White.
